Prototyping for GOV.UK

We know how important prototyping is to UK Government departments, we've made sure from the beginning that our kit is suitable for their needs.

Creating a GOV.UK frontend-compatible prototype

We've tried to make this as familiar as possible. To achieve this we've used the "variants" feature of Now Prototype It and we've provided a variant that sets you up with GOV.UK Frontend. You can create a new GOV.UK style prototype using the following command (don't forget to replace "the-name-of-your-prototype" with the name you want your prototype to have):

npx nowprototypeit create --variant @nowprototypeit/govuk-frontend-adaptor the-name-of-your-prototype

Hosting for UK Government departments

Users can host Now Prototype It prototypes in all the same places as the GOV.UK Prototype Kit, and additionally, we've created our own hosting platform that allows users to upload to from within the kit. Our hosting service is now in Alpha and we are booking demos, please contact us at support@nowprototype.it for more information.
