Beta Features 2026
We are currently running a beta focussed on the paid services we'll start offering in September 2026 and we love user feedback! Go ahead and sign up for our beta programme where you'll get limited free access to these features and a chance to shape the future of our products.
What features are in the beta?
The beta will include the following features:
- NPI Cloud: our dedicated platform which allows you to create and/or share prototypes made with the GOV.UK Prototype Kit and Now Prototype It
- Training: one-day training days to help users to improve their prototyping with the GOV.UK Prototype Kit, Now Prototype It, or a combination of the two
- Consultancy: we can work with you on your prototyping ecosystem to help you get the most out of the tools and make sure you are following best practices either using GOV.UK Prototype Kit, Now Prototype It, or a combination of the two
- Priority Support: users who are making prototypes can reach out to us for help and support
When will the beta end
The beta will end on Wednesday 28th October 2026. This is because we'll be listing our paid services on the G-Cloud 15 framework which becomes available on Wednesday 30th September 2026. Our beta will finish 4 weeks later to give teams time to smoothly transition to the paid services and maintain access to the features.
Can I see a price list for the paid services before I sign up?
Yes, we can share the price list and the service descriptions we have submitted for G-Cloud 15 on request. Please email us at purchasing@nowprototype.it for more information on anything to do with purchasing.
What do I get for free? Can I pay for more?
For this beta we have an allocation that is generous but limited. We ideally want everyone to be able to try everything we're offering, but spaces will be limited for practical reasons. After September 30th 2026 we will be fully live and the beta will continue running for 4 additional weeks in order for customers to set up payment if they want to continue receiving the services.
We encourage you to ask for everything you want during this beta, and the earlier you ask the higher the chance we'll be able to accommodate.
If we aren't able to provide everything you need under the beta we may be able to offer additional services for a discounted fee, or you can wait for us to be fully live on 30th September 2026.
Can a UK Government Department sign up for the beta?
Absolutely! We really want your feedback so we can make sure that we're providing the best tooling for prototyping inside UK Government.
Can an agency working with UK Government sign up?
Of course! Agencies work on some really useful products to the UK Government and we want to make sure our tooling helps them to do that in a way that's good for the users of the service.
Can individuals sign up?
You can! We know that there are so many people who are passionate about prototyping and use prototyping tools in their own work. We would love to know what you think about our tools and how we can make them better for you.
Is the Beta suitable for use outside of UK Government?
Our tooling is intentionally designed to work both inside and outside of UK Government, but this beta is about making sure we're providing the best tooling for prototyping inside UK Government in preparation for our listings on G-Cloud 15 in September. If you're using our tools outside of UK Government and want to sign up, please do, but we may not be able to provide you with the same level of support as we will for UK Government users at this stage.
What happens after I sign up?
We'll firstly verify your email address, asking you to click a link (this link will start with https://nowprototype.it/). Within 3 business days of verifying, we'll let you know how to start accessing our beta features, and we'll be in touch with you to get your feedback on the features and how we can make them better. We'll also be in touch with you about any updates to the beta features and when the beta ends.
